Financial Options
Our office accepts cash, personal checks, and all major credit cards. Financing is available through CareCredit. CareCredit offers some promotional financing options with no interest if paid in full within the promotional period. Applying for CareCredit is quick, easy and can be done online, over the telephone, or by a standard paper application. You will normally receive a decision immediately if done online or over the phone. You will receive an account number and eventually a card. This card can be used at any healthcare office that accepts CareCredit financing.

Dental Benefit Plans
As a service to our patients, our practice will file claims with most dental benefit carriers, including non-managed care and PPO plans. Dr. Duggan is an out of network provider with all managed care networks. Our team will prepare all the necessary information and submit claims to your dental benefit company. Please keep in mind that your specific policy is an agreement between you and your dental benefit company, and that you are responsible for your total obligation should your plan benefits result in less coverage than anticipated. Our treatment coordinator will gladly submit a pre-treatment estimate to your dental benefit company at your request, so that you will know what your benefits will be.
The fees charged for services rendered to those who have dental benefit plans are the usual and customary fees charged to all our patients for similar services. Your policy may base its allowances on a fixed fee schedule, which may or may not coincide with our fees. You should be aware that different dental benefit companies vary greatly in the types of coverage available. Also, some companies take care of claims promptly while others delay payment for several months.
Dr. Duggan will recommend treatment based on your needs, not what your dental benefit plan covers. Dental benefits are based on your contract, which is negotiated between you or your workplace, and the dental benefit company. Benefits are not based on your specific needs. Ultimately, you will make decisions concerning the care you will receive. We are always available to discuss our recommendations with you.
