Dr. Duggan is originally from Roanoke, Virginia.  She received her dental degree from Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in 2006 where she graduated magna cum laude.  While in dental school she received numerous awards for academic excellence, including the F.B. Wiebusch Award for Excellence in Periodontics and was invited to join the Honor Dental Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon.  After graduation, she completed a two year general practice residency at the University of Virginia Health System in Charlottesville, VA.  During those two years of advanced study she focused on comprehensive dentistry, as well as treating medically compromised and pediatric patients.  Upon completion of her residency, Dr. Duggan began her graduate training in Periodontics at VCU/Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry where she received her Master's of Science in Dentistry and her certificate in Periodontics in 2011. 

Dr. Duggan is a Board Certified Specialist in Periodontics and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontics.  She maintains a private practice limited to Periodontics and Dental Implants in Yorktown, Virginia.  She is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, the Southern Academy of Periodontics, the Virginia Society of Periodontists, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Peninsula Dental Society. 

Dr. Duggan also holds many leadership positions within the dental community, including acting as the current President of the Peninsula Dental Association, as well as serving as the Membership Chair of the Executive Council for the Southern Academy of Periodontology.  

Dr. Duggan is married to Andrew; she has two sons, Jack (8) and Charlie (4), and a Scottish terrier, Emmy.  She also enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
